    Whereas Structure B-020, known as the Kennedy Bridge located on Concession 2 between Grey Road 3 and Allan Park Road in the south-central portion of the former Township of Bentinck, in the Municipality of West Grey, is an interim closure;

    Whereas prior to the interim closure, the Kennedy Bridge served a relatively high number of road users with respect to other structures in the Municipality of West Grey;

    Now therefore be it resolved that the 2021 budget include the estimated cost of $75,000 for the pre-engineering and design for the replacement of the Kennedy Bridge;

    And Further that staff be directed to investigate funding options for the replacement of the Kennedy Bridge and proceed with the consideration of the construction funds in 2022.

  • Moved: Councillor Hamilton
