In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw, each delegation shall be limited in speaking to not more than ten minutes, and presentations that are requested by council shall have a time limit as determined between the clerk and the presenter.

In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw, comments may be made to council with respect to a specific agenda item. A maximum of two minutes per person is allotted for comments, with a maximum of ten minutes in total for the comment period.

  • Recommendation:

    That the minutes of the public meeting and regular council meeting of October 5, 2021 are hereby approved as circulated.

  • Recommendation:

    That council provide an update of the plans to upgrade the accessibility of the Durham Town Hall.

  • Recommendation:

    That the revised draft Terms of Reference for the West Grey Local Accessibility Committee be adopted by council.

  • Recommendation:

    Whereas the West Grey Local Accessibility Committee needs to review and discuss a lengthy priority and planning document and requests the option to have fully vaccinated members meet in person in the Durham Community Centre.

  • Recommendation:

    That the West Grey Local Accessibility Committee requests confirmation that the plans for the Heritage Bridge Walkway and Park and other public areas being renovated have been reviewed by the Grey County Joint Accessibility Committee.

  • Recommendation:

    The minutes of committees and boards are hereby received.

  • Recommendation:

    That council receive the Durham Water and Wastewater Treatment Capacity report for information, and further

    That council direct staff to include, in the 2022 budget, detailed information regarding funding the future capital investments required to meet growth needs.

  • Recommendation:

    That West Grey council receives the report 2022 Council Meeting and Holiday Schedule; and

    That the 2022 council meeting and holiday calendar be approved as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    That West Grey council hereby awards the tender for the construction of the Wright Municipal Drain 2021 to Robinson Farm Drainage Limited, at a total construction cost of $147,172.00 plus HST in the amount of $19,132.36 for a total tender cost of $166,304.36.

In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw members may request clarification or updates on previous agenda items.

  • Recommendation:

    That Bylaw 60-2021, being a bylaw to provide for the drainage works in the Municipality of West Grey, in the County of Grey, being the Wright Municipal Drain 2021, be read a third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 77-2021, being a bylaw to authorize an agreement with Second Wind Recycling for mobile expanded polystyrene processing, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 78-2021, being a bylaw to authorize an agreement with Grey Bruce Trash Taxi Inc. for film plastic recycling, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 79-2021, being a bylaw to confirm the proceedings of council, be read a first, second and third and final time.

In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw, comments are not debatable, nor shall they introduce new business. Comments shall be limited to five minutes per member.

  • Recommendation:
