In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw each delegation shall be limited in speaking to not more than ten minutes, and presentations that are requested by council shall have a time limit as determined between the clerk and the presenter.

In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw comments may be made to council with respect to a specific agenda item. A maximum of two minutes per person is allotted for comments, with a maximum of ten minutes in total for the comment period.

  • Recommendation:

    That the minute of the June 20, public meeting and the June 21, 2022 regular council meeting are hereby approved as circulated.

  • Recommendation:

    That council approves up to $50,000 for the purchase of half ton 4x4 pickup truck and

    That the funds are allocated from the department equipment reserves.

  • Recommendation:

    That council receives Planner L. Spencer’s report, Rockwood Terrace redevelopment – Rock Street;

    That council transfer the lands requested (identified as part 1 on plan 17R-1602) to the County of Grey to facilitate the Rockwood Terrace redevelopment; and

    That council directs staff to participate in the transfer with the County of Grey, as required.

In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw members may request clarification or updates on previous agenda items.

  • Recommendation:

    That Bylaw 65-2022, being a bylaw to appoint a building inspector, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That Bylaw 66-2022, being a bylaw to authorize a bag tag vendor agreement, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That Bylaw 67-2022, being a bylaw to amend Bylaw 37-2006, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That Bylaw 68-2022, being a bylaw to authorize a subdivision agreement, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That Bylaw 69-2022, being a bylaw to authorize a subdivision agreement, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That Bylaw 70-2022, being a bylaw to confirm the proceedings of council, be read a first, second and third and final time.

In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw, comments are not debatable, nor shall they introduce new business. Comments shall be limited to five minutes per member.

  • Recommendation:

    That the Council of the Municipality of West Grey does now go into a closed session at _____ a.m./p.m., with the CAO, Clerk and Community and Corporate Initiatives Officer for the purpose of addressing personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees; and to address a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board; and to receive information explicitly supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board by Canada, a province or territory or a Crown agency of any of them. 

  • Recommendation:

    That we do now adjourn at _______ a.m./p.m., to meet again on August 9, 2022 or at the call of the chair.
