In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw each delegation shall be limited in speaking to not more than ten minutes, and presentations that are requested by council shall have a time limit as determined between the clerk and the presenter.

In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw comments may be made to council with respect to a specific agenda item. A maximum of two minutes per person is allotted for comments, with a maximum of ten minutes in total for the comment period.

  • Recommendation:

    That council approves the 2022 capital budget for the Municipality of West Grey to a maximum of 50% of the 2021 budget to permit tendering for the Highway 6 Connecting Link Bridge project.

  • Recommendation:

    That report West Grey Police Services Building Update be received for information.

In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw members may request clarification or updates on previous agenda items.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 01-2022, being a bylaw authorizing the borrowing of money to meet current expenditures, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 02-2022, being a bylaw to provide interim tax levies for the year 2022 for the Municipality of West Grey, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 03-2022, being a bylaw to appoint a committee of adjustment, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 04-2022, being a bylaw to amend zoning bylaw 37-2006 for property known as 313807 Highway 6, Concession 1 EGR, divisions 1 to 3 lot 21, part division 3 lot 21, Township of Glenelg, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 05-2022, being a bylaw to amend zoning bylaw 37-2006 for property known as 221 Bruce Street South, registered plan 500, part lot 6 and 7, Town of Durham, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 06-2022, being a bylaw to amend zoning bylaw 37-2006 for property known as 394771 Concession 2 EGR, part lots 16-17, Concession 2-3 EGR, Township of Glenelg, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 07-2022, being a bylaw to authorize entering into a site plan control agreement, be read a first, second and third and final time.

  • Recommendation:

    That bylaw 08-2022, being a bylaw to confirm the proceedings of council, be read a first, second and third and final time.

In accordance with the West Grey Procedural Bylaw, comments are not debatable, nor shall they introduce new business. Comments shall be limited to five minutes per member.

  • Recommendation:

    That West Grey council does now proceed in closed session at ______ p.m. with the CAO, Clerk, Director of Finance, Chief Building Official, and Legislative Coordinator to address matters pertaining to the security of the property of the municipality or local board.

  • Recommendation:

    That we do now adjourn at _______ p.m., to meet again on January 26, 2022 at 9 a.m. or at the call of the chair.
